This customer wanted the more traditional look in their property and when the carpets were lifted they discovered original 1950’s pine floor boards which were virtually undamaged.
We discussed with the customer the different options they had when it came to different fillers they could have but they decided on no filler at all as they liked the gaps in the boards.
The customer was going to be away when the work was undertaken but needed to look at some sample colours before they left so quicksand made arrangements for one of our team to meet at the house to apply colours to the floor so they could choose.
They went for a dark oak and when returning after their holiday they were more than happy with the end result.
